Permissions We Use

In order for Loyal Bites to function effectively, we request the following permissions from users:

Location

We collect location data from restaurant owners to allow users to find restaurants participating in the loyalty program. Location data is only collected while the app is in use.

Camera

We request access to the camera to enable restaurant owners and users to scan QR codes for reward and loyalty redemption.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Create and manage your account
• Facilitate login and authentication processes
• Enable restaurant owners to manage loyalty programs and rewards
• Enhance user experience by personalizing the app
• Comply with any legal requirements

Account Deletion Process

If you choose to delete your Loyal Bites account, the account will be marked for deletion and removed after 90 days. During this period, you can recover your account by logging back in.

To initiate the account deletion process, follow these steps:

1. Go to your profile by clicking on the top left of your profile picture.
2. Select the "See more" button.
3. Select the "Delete Account" button.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion request.

If you do not recover your account within 90 days, all your data will be permanently deleted. However, if you change your mind within that period, you can log back into your account to cancel the deletion.

Your data security is important to us. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information, including encryption and secure storage practices.

Third-Party Services

Loyal Bites uses third-party services such as Google and Apple for login authentication. These services have their own privacy policies and terms of service that you should review before using them.
